These Cast Iron French ovens’ have been designed by Francis Staub and are a timeless standby for stews, roasts, soups and casseroles, whilst also being very attractive and functional. The Staub Mussel Pots are great for seafood dishes, and are in demand by many chefs and seafood restaurants.
The Staub Cocottes can be used in an oven, where it requires significantly less heat than any other cookware, as cast iron spreads the heat evenly as well as retaining it. It also benefits from a special, smooth, ceramic underside, so it can also be used on any hob or stove top which can take temperatures of up to 500°F/260°C. These attractive Staub dishes move beautifully from the stove to your guests at the table, and will even retain the heat and moisture, due to a tight fitting on the lid, to keep your food warm at the table.
