Global have produced this Diamond Steel to enable users of Global knives to produce an “as new” razor sharp edge on their knives. This steel is made from a durable chrome-vanadium stainless steel mix and is coated with literally millions of diamond particles in a unique process. This steel is used exactly as a traditional steel would be. It is less brittle than a ceramic steel and therefore could be more durable. If broken or when worn, replacement poles are available.
