Since 1814, Wusthof knives have been made in the ‘Cutlery Capital’ of Solingen in Germany. To this very day the company is still family owned and all knives are made in the same way as back in 1814 just with 21st Century machinery.

Wusthof Classic Knives are made of high quality part carbon, part stainless steel. A fully forged knife made from one solid piece of steel. The knife is tempered to the optimum of 56 degrees Rockwell. The bolster in the knife is all integrated for heft and balance; this gives effortless cutting results and a full tang shown giving full balance.
