Global Knives are made in Japan, the home town of the Samurai Sword. Global Knives were first developed in 1985 by Komin Yamada, they have now been going for over 20 years the range consist of over 50 different knives.

Global Knives are made of strong Cromova 18 Stainless Steel, they are ice tempered and hardened to Rockwell 56 – 58 degrees, this meaning they hold an extremely sharp edge for longer than any other steel. They resist rust, stains and corrosion. Similar to a Samurai Sword, each knife is weighed to ensure a perfect balance when in the hand. The seamless construction and smooth contours eliminate any dirt traps; this offers the best in hygiene and safety.
