This contemporary tall standing Galaxy Salt and Pepper has been made with a brushed chrome top and base, with a hardened clear acrylic body which enables you to see when the salt and pepper granules are running low. The Galaxy Salt and Pepper Mill has been fitted with an adjustable knob which allows you to adjust the finish of your salt and pepper.
William Bounds has designed all of their Salt and Pepper Mills in a unique fashion. Each of the mills have been manufactured so they “mill” as opposed to ‘grinding’ the salt or pepper.
The benefit of this milling effect is the mill crushes the salt or pepper instead of grinding reducing the friction on the mill which in turn gives your salt and pepper mills a longer lifespan as opposed to conventional Salt and Pepper grinders.
This milling effect also stops any friction heat, which can deteriorate salt and pepper and thereby losing the flavour, whereas these mills just crush the salt and pepper giving you a fuller and fresher flavour, as well as a superb texture – no more odd lumpy bits of salt and pepper!
