WMF is a popular and well known German Brand and the WMF 1000 is their first fully automatic, professional, bean to cup Coffee Machine. The WMF 1000 is an easy to use machine, enabling making coffee even simpler. At the push of a button, the WMF 1000 bean to cup coffee machine has 12 programmed international coffee specialities. All you have to do is press one of the 4 buttons, allowing you to create all your favourite coffee specialities including: café latte, cappuccino and espresso.
The WMF Profi Brewer is designed to be able to cope with up to 10,000 brewing cycles and 50 cups of coffee a day before the first maintenance is required. The easy to detach piece of unique technology makes it easier to clean and rinse. The WMF Bean to cup Coffee Machine has a 15 bar pump pressure; forcing pressurized hot water through the coffee, and in this high pressure, the coffee flavour develops with the brewing water at 92 degrees Celsius. This process ultimately extracts all the flavours from the coffee, making the perfect cup of coffee.
The WMF 1000 Bean to cup Coffee Machine has many features which include:
•The coffee outlet has a continuously adjustable height (from 75 – 135mm) enabling you to fit anything from an espresso cut to a macchiato glass underneath.
•An integrated milk jet with lever, so you can chose between just milk and milk froth.
•A hot water outlet so you don’t have to boil your kettle if you would prefer a cup of tea!
•A counter reader which enables you to see which drink is the most popular.
The WMF 1000 Bean to cup Coffee Machine also includes a lighted display which will let you know if you need to start a cleaning or maintenance program. Don’t worry about this; these maintenance and cleaning programs are already programmed into the machine so all you have to do is press a button! These programs are explained below:-
•The Coffee system rinsing – This activates every time you switch the machine on and off
•The Milk system rinsing – This is a unique fully automated milk rinsing system, simply plug the milk hose into the hot water tube, press the related button and steam and water will rinse through the milk system. This is very hygienic, easier and faster than any other coffee machine.
•Cleaning the Coffee Machine – This process should be done once a week
•Filter change – Decalcification display
The WMF 1000 bean to cup coffee machine stands out for its high standard and excellent constant quality grinding. The Adjustable 2 large grinding discs in the machine are made from precision milled alloy and are enclosed in cast aluminum housing.
The WMF grinders guarantee a perfect sharpness and a constant degree of grinding, so the WMF 1000 allows you to make the perfect cup of coffee. The WMF 1000 Bean to Cup Coffee Machine sports different grinding settings to you can adjust to your preference from extra fine to extra course.
The WMF water system has 4 filter stages which provides the best quality water for the machine and prevents calcifications. Inclusive, there are also 2 heating systems which ensure the brewing temperature maintains a constant heat and that there is a sufficient amount of stem for frothing the milk.
The cromorgan bars underneath where the cup sits allow any excess liquid to drip down into the interchangeable drip basin.
The WMF 1000 also has a large cup heating plate on the top of the machine. The beans container can hold up to 320g and the water tank can hold up to 2.8 litres. However, to ensure you get the maximum flavour in your coffee from the beans, the container should only be filled with your daily requirement.
There are 3 function keys which have different settings:
•The Cup size function – This allows you to adjust the volume and size of the cup. This function can be used when you want the same taste but in a larger or smaller cup.
•The Beverage settings function – This function allows you to alter the preparation of each coffee speciality, which: coffee strength, milk quantity and water quantity.
•The basic settings – You can change the time and date and whether you want it displayed on the display, you can also change the water hardness, water filter, brewing temperature or you can reset it back to the factory settings.
